Terms & Conditions

We look forward to welcoming you and your dogs to Skye Walks Dog Walking Park in Braughing, Hertfordshire.

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of the Dog Park for you and others please read the following.

It is understood that each time you make a booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

1. Regular checks are taken to ensure the safety of the Dog Park, however we cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury to users or dogs whilst using the dog park.

2. Use of the Dog Park is at the dog owner’s own risk. We recommend that you have public liability insurance, often included in your pet or home insurance policy.

3. Please be respectful of our local residents with regards to noise.  This activity was always intended to be of low impact to the surrounding community.

4. The fence is built to 5 foot high using deer netting - product name ‘Hinge Joint Universal Light Stock Fence L19-150-15 50m’.  If your dog can jump over 5 foot then please do not let them off their lead unless you are happy the field is secure.

5. Despite regular checking, we can’t guarantee that a rabbit, or other animal, won’t have dug a hole throughout the night.  If you have a dog that enjoys disappearing down rabbit holes, please do not let them off their lead.

6. Maltings Lane is narrow due to resident parking. Please wait for your booking in your car away from Maltings Lane. You must not enter the Dog Park before your allocated time slot, especially if someone else is using it before you. And you must exit on time to allow the next person their full-time slot. If there is an issue you should contact us immediately on the number provided on the contact page.

7. If you arrive late for your time slot you cannot recover this time back at the end. Please be time conscious as to assure a smooth running of the day.

8. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the Dog Park at any time.

9. Dogs should not dig holes in the Dog Park or cause any other damage. If your dog causes significant damage to the Dog Park you must contact us immediately so we can fix it.

10. Please pick your dog waste up and either take it with you or put in the dog waste bin provided in the Dog Park. Please take any other waste with you.

11. If you have booked and your dog becomes unwell please do not bring them to the Dog Park, but contact us and we will rearrange your booking.

12. Users must always respect the Dog Park and its contents. Humans should not climb the gate, fences or equipment. Children should not be left unattended at any time.

13. Users must lock the gate after use with the lock provided even if the next user has arrived for their slot. This prevents anyone entering the Dog Park who has not booked correctly.

14. We operate a no smoking policy within our Dog Park. Cigarettes are a specific danger to the land especially during dry spell months. Discarded cigarettes are unsightly and a health risk to our canine friends.

15. Under no circumstances should a user divulge any combination codes to a third party. The codes are subject to change at any time without any notice and the current code will always be in your confirmation email.

16. The user who makes the booking is the person responsible for all persons and dogs in the Dog Park during their time slot.
